The initial deal of Robin Lopez, Mitch McGary, and Kyle O'Quinn for Luol Deng, Gerald Green, and Amare Stoudamire was not possible, as total of $17,863,040 was too large a difference from Miami's outgoing salaries of $12,046,164. Though it would fall within the 150% rule, because the incoming salary is above 9.8 million dollars for the Miami HEAT, the rule is therefor invalid.
To accommodate for this, the Washington Wizards will take in Zoran Dragic's expiring deal worth slightly over 1.7 million dollars by utilizing their TPE spawned from the Blake Griffin deal.
