Sources: Rookie Centre Jahlil Okafor to the Miami HEAT

The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to send rookie Centre, Jahlil Okafor, in a trade to the Miami HEAT, league sources tell GMAT Sports.

In return, the Miami HEAT will send young guard Dante Exum, Miles Plumlee, the Utah Jazz's 2016 and 2018 First Round Draft picks, and $750,000.  Alongside Jahlil Okafor, forward Anthony Tolliver will head to Miami.

How Does the Money Work?
Over the soft-cap, the Miami HEAT are sending a combined $5,887,014 between Dante Exum and Miles Plumlee.  In return, Miami will receive $7,582,680 of salary in return.

Sources: Nikola Pekovic to the Milwaukee Bucks

The Miami HEAT have agreed to send Nikola Pekovc to the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources tell GMAT Sports.

Milwaukee will send Kris Humphries, Greivis Vásques, Miles Plumlee, Tyler Ennis and an unprotected, 2017 First Round Pick to the Miami HEAT, sources said.  Along with Nikola Pekovic, Josh McRoberts, Shabazz Napier, James Ennis, and two future second round draft picks* will be sent to Milwaukee.  

How does the Money Work?

With their current salaries at $69,167,934, the Milwaukee Bucks are able to take 5,833,066 dollars of additional salary.  Because of this, they could absorb the $4,971,570 difference between the incoming salaries of $19,783,224 and outgoing salaries of $14,811,654 as it puts them $161,496 underneath the soft-cap.


*The Milwaukee Bucks will receive Miami's 2018 and 2020 second round draft picks.

Sources: Luol Deng to the New York Knicks

UPDATE: Luol Deng now heading to New York in a Four Team Deal.

The Miami HEAT have agreed to send versatile forward Luol Deng to the New York Knicks in return for Robin Lopez, league sources tell GMAT Sports.

Along with Luol Deng, the Miami HEAT have agreed to send Gerald Green, Zoran Dragic, and Amare Stoudamire to the New York Knicks for Robin Lopez, Mitch McGary, and Kyle O'Quinn.  Capped at fifteen men on their roster, the New York Knicks routed Zoran Dragic to the  Washington Wizards alongside the lesser of Cleveland or Houston's 2019 second round draft pick.

Sources: Four Team Deal sends Luol Deng to the New York Knicks

The Miami HEAT have agreed to send versatile forward Luol Deng to the New York Knicks in return for Robin Lopez, league sources tell GMAT Sports.

Sources: Tibor Pleiß to Miami

UPDATE: Mario Chalmers now heading to Utah in four team deal.
The Utah Jazz have agreed to send Tibor Pleiß to the Miami HEAT, league sources tell GMAT Sports.

Along side Tibor, Raul Neto and the Utah Jazz's 2020 second round pick will be sent to Miami for back-up Point Guard Mario Chalmers in an attempt to leverage future cap space.  Miami will also receive $500,000 in the deal.

How do the Numbers Work?
Making 2.9 million dollars this season, Tibor Pleiß and Raul Neto ($900,000) combine for 3.8 million dollars, two hundred thousand shy of Mario Chalmers' $4,000,000 deal.  This allows the trade to be legal under the 150% rule.

The Utah Jazz have opened $3,937,800 dollars in next year's free-agency.

Centre Brendan Haywood was waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers when no deals were found for his 10.5 million dollar, unguaranteed contract.
